  • Guess you could say I'm a media fanatic sometimes. Music is my biggest interest in life, games second. I've always played games since I was about 6 years old, I think. I used to play Medal of Honor with my brother on the PSone all the time. When I got a PS2 games like Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 were played non-stop. I hated being at school. It was filled with douchebags and the teachers weren't much better. When I got home I'd play games all day and avoid parents, fearing I'd have to do homework. Truth is games actually taught me more than homework ever could. Some early Pokemon games taught me pretty much all my basic English, and other games and music has taught me the rest. I got A+ in English and Danish. I play PC games a lot, but console games have influenced me a lot more through life. I don't play as much as I used to though... (Name is inspired by the protagonist from the movie Death Race.)

These days it's quite often I see news of a game that everyone's exited about, and I see 1 screenshot and pass it by with a "meh"... Just to later stumble upon gameplay footage or a trailer and it blows my mind, and I will think to myself "Why did I ignore this?!!". This game is the best example of it. This looks incredible... Many have described it as a mix of Mirror's Edge and Mass Effect... I strongly disagree with Mirror's Edge, I'd rather say Brink as it seems to be parkour on a smaller scale. It climbed to the top spot of my anticipation list, passing Arkham City and Bioshock, and there's a chance it might go to top my favorites list

1.0Whyyy??

Absolute crap! You'd think this wasn't game tested since the balance is broken. Tip: Play Kratos. Greatly overpowers everything.

1.0Whyyy??

This is the biggest disappointment I've seen in a long time. Blizzard very obviously ain't what it used to be. 76 pounds for a game that's unplayable and a soundtrack that's incredibly bland. What a waste.

10Classic!

A light shining in darkness. After few games in a long time have been truly unque, had an engaging story with perfect pace and narration, this games steps in. 2012 has already seen its best game. Having similarities to Bioshock (besides leaving one satisfied) like having a niche aspect, Darkness/plasmids. It tells a very good story with great characters, supported by superb voice acting. The script is good. The whole action gameplay is awesome, especially when you learn to master shooting while throwing, slicing and executing stuff. The power is incredible. The ending has two outcomes. My choice was the "right" one, and its was great! Aside from few technical issues and a small FOV, The Darkness II is an absolute success!

9.5Classic!

Had heard a little of this game.. heard less about the franchise. Flight simulators have never been a favorite genre of mine, but, I started getting a minor interest in it after SW: Battlefront 2's space battles. Then I played TC's H.A.W.X. for a bit, a long time after, and liked it. Went to a game convention in Sweden and tried this with small expectations, and it ended up as the biggest surprise game for me at the event. I absolutely loved it. The sound design is GREAT, the action is awesome. The steering and controls are perfect. It's got something fresh and genuine to it, and the dogfight mechanic is amazing. Went home and checked out the soundtrack, and... It's one of the best I've heard in a long time. This game rocks!

4.5Average

It's a real shame when a good game immediately gets the fun sucked out of it by the publishers. One could say Ubisoft is the chastity belt and U-play is the lock. And by the time you've finally made the game playable, it's tempting to just say "Fuck it!". But I got it started, and I'm met by a menu that reminds me of Spore. It starts off with a nice intro scene (though it drags on), where we see the birth of The Breath, which is the thing you control to make the tribe survive. Sound design is nice. The controls are pretty good and easy to learn. You move breath with both mouse and WASD, and it's best to use both equally (tip!). I love Fallout, I love Borderlands. How is this game not going to be a favorite!

Have known Starcraft 2 for a long time. I once had a great interest in watching commentary casting of pro games. Recently that interest got revived, and I got to play the game myself. I came to love the game. I've never been a fan of RTS games, but Starcraft 2 is an exception. I'm proud to call it an official sport. Can't say much about this expansion, but from the looks of it... I'd say it's already pure gold.

Played the demo, which wasn't quite as fun as I expected, though its shows the game is staying true to its core. It's still badass, it's still cocky, it's still the duke. What else is there to say, than hail to the king, baby!

5.5Fine

"I might actually get an interest in this franchise"... Is what I read in the title. Resident Evil has only bored me, and the 5th one looked the most boring. The movies were incredibly bad, too... Though I don't have a fans knowledge on why, I can see they suck. This co-op idea lightens up this dull franchise and the graphics and artwork looks great. The characters look interesting. I can definitely see myself enjoying this game. Learning about this games existence was a delight, and it surprises me how much it interests me. I'll have high expectations for this game, and I'm confident I won't be disappointed.
