I never thought I could play Sonic in more ways than one! Now my only problem is getting to other levels. In in of itself, it's harder than the levels! Still a great game!

Undoubtedly the best Sonic game so far. Strangely enough, this game has as much flaws as any of the previous Sonic titles, but what makes this one so special is its presentation. Travelling through Sonic's history of games, from the classic games to the now, in video game format, was an excellent idea. I may not be the biggest Sonic nerd, but even I enjoyed the classic Sonic stages despite me not growing up with any of those games. Saving each of your friends one by one, and working them or against them was a very neat touch too.

I decided to cheat and put Sonic Generations as one of my favourite soundtracks. In reality despite the wavering gameplay, the Sonic franchise has had some AMAZING soundtracks. (Escape from the City, Team Chaotix theme, Sonic Boom, Sonic Heroes theme etc) However this game had a compilation of amazing sonic songs as unlockables in the game as well as many remixes and that's why this soundtrack is my favourite.

Sega needs to stop making Sonic games. This is as good as it's gonna get. I don't say that because I hate Sonic or anything, it's just that this game is really solid and it did wonders for the series (and Sega's by association) reputation. I don't want to see Sonic Team potentially screw up again. So, why did I like this game? Well, it provided that fast paced action that Sonic is supposedly known for, it had solid level design with very few glitchy areas (A first for a Sonic game) and it had a killer soundtrack. There are some quality remixes here. The game is also super-nice looking. Rooftop Run especially. Really, the biggest problems are the boss fights which isn't much of a surprise. Definitely the best big Sonic title in a long

I was skeptical of this title at first but shortly after putting it in i fell in love. Sonic generations had finally usurped the throne sonic adventure 2 once held and came out on top as not only the greatest sonic game i've ever played but also one of the most fun platformers i've ever played. With it's solid platforming as classic sonic, high speed action as modern sonic, and all the right nostalgic comebacks Sonic Generations has earned the #7 spot on my list.

I personally think this is the best sonic game of them all. Sonic unleashed, Sonic colors and then this..WOW. Sonic team was basically hyping us up for this. Sonic 4 was okay, but this is what sonic fans wanted. This is the original sonic the hedgehog of this generation.

Sonic has gone through quite rough times from 2005-2010. Shadow the Hedgehog, the Storybook series, and the monstrosity known as Sonic '06... All of which mostly got negative reviews. Sonic Unleashed then came out and half of the game was alright, the other half -The werehog sections- were notoriously horrible. Then Sonic Colors came out. It was flawed, but good. After all of these titles, the release of Sonic Generations can truly blow a Sonic fan's mind. Sonic Generations (The PC/PS3/360 version) might just be the greatest Sonic game ever created. I'm sure that whether you're an old school fan or an Adventure fan, you'd enjoy this game... Actually, the Sonic fanbase is fucking terrible, so I can't say that for everyone.

Sega Team finally nails the perfect Sonic formula - no werewolves, no friends, no bull****. It's lead me to wonder what they were doing in the past years and how they've made such a perfect platformer with Generations. Given, all the levels are from past games but the game reeks of intelligent level design in particular the new 3D levels. The game may be a on the short side but it makes up for it in other areas. It's got an amazing OST; beautiful renditions of old Sonic themes, and to top it off it is one of the best looking PS3/360 games. Sonic's the name, speeds my game =)

I wish it didn't take them over a decade to finally do it, but Sega finally made a really good Sonic game again. The sections with old Sonic play exactly how you hoped they would, and the new Sonic sections play pretty damn well for the most part. While the levels are based on ones from older games, they didn't just rehash them in either 2d or 3d. They kept the iconic sections and general feel, but designed new levels around them. Through this, it manages to have more of its own identity than something like the New Super Mario Bros. games. On the negative side, some of the later 3d levels don't play that well, and the last couple of boss fights were annoying.

After a lot of bad games Sonic finally got his B+ 3D plataform game. Sonic Generations actually got every bad things of the series and mix with every good things and turn all of this into a single game, good, nothing really awesome, but good. At least we can keep the hope for a good game for the Hedgehog. But the camera + controller is bad
