The games dark themes really hit me. Its unique-ness made this game special, really love it. Great series, reminds me a little of thousand arms.

This Game to me is a work of art but sadly there isn't to much detail I can go into without spoiling thing but all you need to know is that it is amazing

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Review written Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 at 09:23 am.

Oh god this game is epic... The intro does a great job making you want to know the story. "Burn my dread", Yukari pointing a gun (evoker) to her head, people turning into coffins! How can you NOT want to solve this mystery?!? The much darker theme than Persona 4, is a bonus, but the gameplay can sometimes feel "slow". The best example is if you reach the goal in tartasauce the first day in one go, you don't really have much to do for the rest of the month but social linking. Speaking of social linking, a rpg about fighting monsters at midnight/a dating sim might sound weird, but it feels perfect. The soundtrack is awesome! At first it might seem weird, but you'll be like "UHH YEAH! DADA DA DA DA DA DADA DA DA DA! BABY BABY!"

Thanks to my friend who showed me this game about a month ago; I went and bought P3 off the PSN, and for the past month had a blast playing it. Despite never having played any of the titles in the Persona series, the game was still capable of delivering an immersible experience and a very memorable line of characters. Juggling between living the high school life in Japan and combating shadows in the Dark Hour was a neat idea by the producers of the game, and is what really makes this stand out from other rpgs. The only shortcomings that i believe P3 has is in the tedious gameplay which in involves in most cases, casting a spell that exploits the enemies weakness, and then moving in for an all-out attack.

My introduction into the Persona series, if only you could control the characters... Speaking of the characters, I like the ones from P4 better, but these are great by the end.

There are a lot of tiny things I could harp on about this game, but in the end I did enjoy playing it. The battles are classic SMT, the dialogue is often amusing and has some rewarding moments, and the level of challenge is honestly just right. Persona 3's destined to be a classic RPG and I would recommend it to anybody who likes them and can tolerate the long dungeons and learning curve in regards to monster fusion. http://jshgaming.com/blog/?p=25

When Atlus decided to revamp their Persona series they struck gold with P3. Combining a traditionally dark SMT storyline with lighter and sillier moments, realistic, maturely written characters, unique social sim mechanics, a calendar system, and some old fashioned dungeon crawling, Persona 3 is easily one of the best console-style rpgs I've ever played. The game has great atmosphere and great music that really sells the modern Japan setting. While the game can be grindy at times (though the extent is up to you) and pacing is a little slow at spots, you'll love all the time the game lets you spend with the characters' dramatic and comedic moments both. It's sad to see it end but it goes out on a great note. A must play.

The most engrossing game I've ever come across. The game does an excellent job of making you feel truly apart of the world, and that the little things you do WILL affect the world. It takes two radically different genres and meshes them into something perfect and playable. An absolute must play for any JRPG fan.

Simply amazing. It was so difficult to find the few minor flaws in this game. The story, character development, world, atmosphere, gameplay, and soundtrack were all done exceptionally well. This game will go down as one those I will always look back on very fondly. It really made you feel like you were apart of the world and not just controlling some random person. The 80 hour journey that was my first play-through are among the most well spent hours of my gaming life.
