Phantasy Star Online doesn't know how to quit me.

This should be Blue Burst, but whatever, I don't really play PC games.

PSOBB is a one of my dream games. Sonic Team and a good Console-Style Action RPG - it just melts together like soda and ice cream. High points: Items and Weapons, fighting and leveling-up, Low Points: Rare items, environments, missions, graphics.

I'm aware this isn't the best game ever, or even the best Dreamcast game ever. But I also cannot deny the ABSURD sums of time I spent in it during high school, the great times I had with my friends playing co-op, and the new friends I made. It was a simple premise, but it clicked just right with me and I could not put it down for months.

I was in middle school when this came out. I'd play with my friends in the day(four player split screen) then at night, I'd haggle with strange people online for Lavis cannons, flower bouqets, umbrellas, chainsaws, and electric guitars for weapons. When i played with friends again a few days later, they were happy to see what everyone had brought with them from the dial-up Online mode, and exchanges took place once again. This dual-market exchange was more fun than the hack and slash gameplay the game provided. The hilariously primitive, but very robust language translator and the (often inappropriate) smiley-face creator made this game incredible.

So, the last game that gets in my top 10, and the last one that gets a major opinion. I don't know, this game just took me by surprise. While I was in Boy Scouts, I had a friend whom simply recommended this game to me, because it was fun. He didn't really tell me what kind of game it was, other than you attack things with swords and guns. And that you can do it with 3 other players. This hit at a time of weakness for me and my neighborhood friends when it came to multiplayer games. Apart from SSBM, there really weren't many other choices for 3-4 player multiplayer games, other than the older games on the N64 and such. Along came PSO, which we all fell in love with, and spammed our young teenage lives away on it.

I've only played the GameCube version, so I don't know how it differs from the Dreamcast version, but I had a lot of fun in the multiplayer mode with my brothers and friends. Can get real tedious on your own though.

The perfect game- simple yet addicting gameplay, phenomenal music and art design, atmosphere, item hunting, 4 player online co-op... It never gets old.
