Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review written Thursday, October 17th, 2013 at 11:02 pm.

8.5Fantastic

This game feels pretty weird to me, to be honest. you would think if this is the sequel to my favorite game that i would either all out love it or all out hate it. I like it better than all the other 3ds games. but at the same time i have trouble calling it the best 3ds game. I have a feeling that Smash Bros 4 on 3ds will dethrone it. It is a great game with funny dialogue and good control. The art is nice and the music is perfect for a Luigi's Mansion game. My main complaint would probably be that it does not feel like an adventure anymore. It is set in missions and you pick each one to do something different. My other complaint is the bosses. they seem very uninspired and boring unlike the ghost portrait bosses from the first. It's good

9.0Fantastic

A brilliant sequel to the original Luigi's Mansion, this looks like it was made for the 3DS. The combat system is perfected from the last game, and the puzzles are barely reused, aswell as the multiplayer being good. However, some of the bosses are mediocre compared to the previous game, and the talks and constant calls from E.Gadd can get really boring after a while.

The first one was just so odd and a little addictive, I'm curious to see what they're planning to do for the long-awaited sequel.

When this game was presented at E3 2011 it looked like a bundle of fun but since there hasn't been too much content shown I don't have too much anticipation.
