fun game with great story, and its ending made me cry. probably one of the best sequels ever, but no replay value,at all.

Well made, an faithfull the the first, it leaves something to be desired (continued in InFamous 2:Festival of Blood)

inFAMOUS 2 manages to do two things that games have struggled with for years: tell a compelling story in an open world environment and make a completely original superhero. Combine that with a whopper of an ending and you get a must play game.

Great game, what prototype should've been. You want to be a superhero? Pick it up.

As the sequel to one opf my favorite games I had high expectations for its sequel, I am happy to say I was not let down. The powers were improved and the amp for melee combat seems like a natural addition to the package. The game truly makes you feel powerful and presents an excellent ending to the franchise. My only complaint is that most of the choices for both the evil and good side gave you the same result and didn't feel like they carried enough weight. All in all it was an excellent game and one of my personal favorites.

A very addictive sandbox superhero game with decision-making that actually matters. The good-guy ending felt so awesome to me.

New Marais is so colorful and industrially varied, unlike Empire City wherein every region looked and felt about the same. Not only is navigation made better by a more diverse environment, but also by better core gameplay. Cole moves so fluidly and none of his powers ever stop being fun to use. The Karma system diverts into two distinct experiences not only in the awesome abilities earned, but also in pedestrians' attitudes...which are impressively realistic. The story presentation is fantastic thanks to improved motion capture (and general visual quality), likable dynamic characters who finally do more than just argue with one another, and a properly developed story. Applause to Sucker Punch, a studio that has regained my utmost respect.

I'll admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the first one. But in inFAMOUS 2, Sucker Punch seems to fix almost EVERY SINGLE FLAW I could find with the first. New Marais, the New Orleans to Empire City's NYC, has a ton more personality than the first game's dull gray urban landscape, throwing in a ton more color and variety to the landscape. Of course, being a sandbox game at heart, this is a HUGE deal. inFamous 2 plays very similarly too its predecessor in terms of general control, but Cole's powers this time around are much more impressive, and make the whole experience SO much more fun to play.

A great sony exclusive and certainly underrated. Great controls and and great gameplay. A tight and solid package. Not only that, it has a one of the best endings and not only one of them but two.
