The more insane the skillshot, the more points players collect to upgrade and unlock weapons, which in turn allows them to execute even more inventive moves and exaggerated skillshots.

in all honesty I found this game terrible for me there was no real humor, the voice acting felt asif it was put on, fairly generic set pieces and & characters and i felt the game was trying too hard to be something it isn't, I know a few people rate this game but its not for me and I did not enjoy it but there are plenty of people that will enjoy this game.

The most over-the-top shooter ever? Possibly. A lot of swearing, manly action, and incredibly spectacular, varied and bloody violent killings, and since the better the kill is the more points you get, you're rewarded for being a punk. With plenty of levels and leaderboards, you can't go wrong with this game. As far as I'm concerned, it's Epic's best game since they stopped making Unreal Tournament games.

Bulletstorm is nice if you want nothing but pure, sadistic action, with a nice mix of difficulty. The skillshot system was new, fresh, and reasonably well executed- not to mention painfully creative. The single player campaign was handled well enough to not bore people with about as much exposition and story as you'd expect in a game called "Bulletstorm," but with enough story to keep a player compelled enough to keep playing through the game- with the assistance of performing new, cool skillshots, and unlocking new murder-weapons and their abilities. The multiplayer is essentially a glorified horde mode, but not as fun. Overall, a fun game for renting and plowing through for fun, but not for long-term purchase.

The world itself is as breathtakingly beautiful as it is cringeingly terrifying. It's the kind of game you don't play for the story, nope, definitely not the story... It's rushed out within the prologue and first few levels to make way for sheer anarchy and chaos. Your mind is quickly changed from your standard shooter of "Take cover and play smart." to "What's the most creative way I can murder this guy?" A nice change of pace. The games a lot like a roller-coaster, that's set on fire, with TNT strapped to the tracks. It's a crazy ride that is unique. For that same reason however, it draws as much people to it, as it does push them away. If your tired of the same shooters hashing out the same content, it's definitely worth a try

The best use of kicking in a game ever! Shoot, kick, leash... that's two more ways to kill than are in most games and the added variety sure make a big difference. The variety doesn't end there either. Bulletstorm is the only game that does a variety of absurd weapons well: every weapon in the game is both unique and effective. Additionally the game takes the typical military atmosphere so ever-present in FPSs and turns it on it's head. Yes, the main characters are soldiers... but there isn't an ounce of honor or duty present and that's a very good thing.

Bulletstorm is a very fun game. The graphics are surprisingly very good and the game play is very fun. There are mini achievements within the game which make you want to keep playing. The way enemies can die is just humorous and laugh-out-loud funny.

Good evening one and all. Bulletstorm places me in a dilemma. On one hand it is an awesomely fun game that rewards you for shooting mutants in the nether regions and on the other it is repetitive, setpiece-ridden cliche with an f-bomb as every second word and characters that are frankly annoying. Essentially, the player's enjoyment comes down to what the player finds fun. If you love shooting, shooting and more shooting then, by all means, buy it. If you want a deep, interesting, story-driven experience then you would be better off playing with a stick. The graphics may be stunning with the Unreal Engine in full swing and the gunplay may be smoothly 60 fps, but be wary as Bulletstorm may just as easily leave a nasty taste in your mouth.
