A classic I played when I was bored of Super Mario 64.

Bomberman 64 (1997) Review written Wednesday, July 31st, 2013 at 02:05 pm.

The storyline was largely forgettable, but the multiplayer... oh gosh, the multiplayer. Spent dozens of hours blasting my friends' arses (and likewise, getting my arse blasted) in this 3D experiment. It didn't have the depth of the best 2D games, mind you, but it was lovely to jump on blocks, grabbing enemies, etc.. And when the water started rising, mayhem began. It's a shame this 3D version didn't get much credit, we could have an alternation of 3D and 2D games like with Mario.

It's ok to let nostalgia dictate my list for the most part. Right?
