Not sure what to rate it. It had been the most emotional game I played up to that day (later greatly surpassed by Journey which made me weep like a baby). Gorgeous graphics and art direction. Some fun gameplay ideas. It's like a themepark/rollercoaster! However sooo many problems. With the story trying to be way smarter than it is, with the nihilism of it all and the meaningless paradoxal plot and plot holes, with the flawed narrative and huge dissonance(not just because of violence), the simple streamlined gameplay, the total linearity and railroading, the tone leaving satire behind. Some of these I realized when I played Spec Ops: The Line, cause really that's the narrative effect they were going for but failed for me.

For the longest time I thought Half-Life 2 could never be dethroned. It was the prefect First- Person shooter. Bioshock Infinite has taken it to 11! It operates on plot levels most didn't even know a game could yet. SOTN may be my favorite Video Game of all time but DAMN I dare say Bioshock Infinite my be the finest Video Game ever created! It has also restored my confidence in modern games as a whole in general. The future of Video Games looks bright indeed. I wish I could say the same for the world & society in general but that as they say is another story... Own this Diamond of a game. Brilliant! The Greatest Game of it's generation.

Bioshock Infinite didn't interest me at first; I didn't know how good the series actually was. When I played the first one I decided I must play the new one, and it was incredible! Everything about it was expertly crafted; the gameplay was fast paced and fun and the story, oh the story! It was brilliant! There is only one complaint; there isn't much else to do in the base game once you complete the main story. There isn't any incentive to return to the story and unless you purchase the DLC there isn't anything to do; I can't afford to buy the DLC so after that first twelve hours there wasn't anything else to do. Short and sweet is how I would describe it.

Maybe it's a passable stock shooter that puts flash over substance. Maybe it's a brilliant masterpiece that totally redefines what games can be on a higher level. Like the quantum aspects of the story suggest, it can be both. Above all, I admire it's ambition.

Gameplay is a little weird and sloppy at times but the storyline is amazing. I loved how deep the city of columbia was as well. Played it through a couple times, its still growing on me

I'll be honest I wasn't the biggest fan of the first two Bioshock's but this game blew my mind in so many ways. It's a masterpiece in gaming from the characters, to the fitting soundtrack, to the utterly gobsmacking imagery. This is undoubtedly an achievement in gaming history, and a benchmark for other series to reach.

it was an absolute master piece. the art was amazing. the story was mind blowing and perfect. the voice acting was out standing. the game play was fantastic, everything from lifting people into the air and shooting them with a rocket launcher to jumping off sky rails and stabbing them with sky hooks. i could find anything i didnt like about this game.
