was great looking, and had well thought out game play. The story was pretty good. It was a lot like Devil may cry but with its own flair to it.

Mystique, grandeur, occultism, oxymoron-ic elements and an eccentric witch join forces to create my favorite hack and slash game of all time. Forget about God Of War, this is where all the good stuff is. Great story, magnificent characters, nostalgic vibes and most importantly, bizarre landscapes. You eviscerate angels in a myriad ways, at once dispatching them with melee and then with those pistols dangling from Bayonetta's heels. The black garb she's clad in is actually her hair. The more you know.

Over-the-top, sexy, spectacular, crazy. Some of the best words to describe Bayonetta are right there. It's like Devil May Cry 4 on drugs, which was already pretty crazy on its own. The gameplay is obviously very linear and has its flaws, and even the graphics are far from fantastic. But it's such an insane gaming experience that one obviously needs to look over the flaws and just experience it.

If you're looking for the most insane, over-the-top, sexy, action-packed mega-epic video game ever, then Bayonetta is the game for you! The game plays very similarly to Devil May Cry (mostly because it's from the same director), with fast-paced hacking and slashing and a complex, yet not too difficult, combo system. The enemies vary greatly, and so do the monstrous boss fights, from an arena fight to a surfing battle, so it never gets boring! Bayonetta also has one of the most potentially cataclysmic stories in any video game, dealing with amnesia, Heaven & Hell, and global "rebirth". One of the craziest video games I've ever played, and recommend for anyone who wants to have tons of fun slicing and shooting baddies!

i liked it because it had the DMC feel to it maybe because of the same developers for the game but also i like bayonetta as a character and going on her journey with her was interesting unfortunately i won't be able to play the next installment because i don't have a wii u and don't play to get one but what i have seen from E3 it's going to be a good game i like the new character design as well :3

True the sex appeal alone is what got me into the game, but what awaited was nothing I could ever imagine. Not only is the gameplay dynamic and fluent, but it has such a great sense of humor and even lore within its universe. Sure it can be said the lore is unnecessary and only makes the story complex therefore the cutscenes are very long, but I think that extra effort is what makes the game so potent and lively.

Many people think it's far too Devil May Cry-ish, and never end up playing it. This is very unfortunate, since it's a great game, and I can't help but to replay it over and over again... In fact, I'm getting a Wii U just to play the sequal! And yes, it's a bit reminicent of DMC, but it's somehow just.. different... Also it screws you over in the end like, 2 or 3 times, so there's that...
